1. Do you charge extra fees and/or taxes in addition to your rates? I saw another site that listed Villa del Palmar Flamingos and they added 12% tax and 10% service fees to their rates.
We can provide you unpublished rate quotes that include all taxes and fees. The rates we quote are what you pay.  [Top]

2. Are you travel agents?
We are vacation timeshare owners here at Villa del Palmar Flamingos and for more than a decade have been helping our guests get the most from their vacation investment. How you ask? This site is designed and operated by us to provide the general traveling public with a means of booking unused owner time at incredible rates...rates you will not find anywhere else! There is no specific "timeshare" or "hotel" section of this resort. All of the suites and their availability is shared between owners and the online booking engines. The only difference is the confirmation number you get and the price you pay. There is never any obligation to take a timeshare tour when booking through us. 3. Do you accept credit card payments?                          
We accept VISA, MasterCard & Discover Card and American Express. Your reservation will be secured with a resort generated confirmation.  [Top]

4. Is Internet access available at Villa del Palmar Flamingos?
Yes, high-speed Internet access is available in all 1 and 2 bedroom suites.  [Top]

5. Are there hair dryers in the Suites?
Yes, each suite comes equipped with a hair dryer.  [Top]

6. Is the water at Villa del Palmar Flamingos safe to drink?
Yes. Villa del Palmar Flamingos has its own water purification plant. The purified tap water flows through the faucets in all the Suites.  [Top]

7. What's the electric current at Villa del Palmar Flamingos?
The electrical outlets are 120 V and 60 Hz. Both 2 and 3 prong plugs are OK to use.  [Top]

8. Are passports required to visit Mexico?
  U.S. citizens traveling to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda who have applied for but not yet received passports can nevertheless temporarily enter and depart from the United States by air with a government issued photo identification and Department of State official proof of application for a passport through September 30, 2007. Official proof of a U.S. passport application is required and can be obtained at https://travel.state.gov/ .
  Married women also need to take either their marriage license or affidavit of same to verify their name change from the name shown on the birth certificate.
  U.S. citizens boarding flights to Mexico should be prepared to present one of these documents as proof of U.S. citizenship, along with photo identification. Driver's permits, voter registration cards, affidavits and similar documents are not sufficient to prove citizenship for readmission into the United States. 9. What are the regulations for children under 18 years old traveling to Mexico?
IMPORTANT! If you are a lone parent or will be traveling with your children but without your spouse, or you are under 18 years old traveling alone, special paperwork is required.
• If you are a single parent, or if your spouse will not be traveling with you and your children for whatever reason, you must get a notarized letter from the absent parent, giving consent for the child or children to be traveling with one parent absent.
• If you are a widow or widower, you will need to write a letter to explain this and get it and a copy of the death certificate notarized. Carry both of these documents with you when you travel.
• If you are estranged from your spouse, and you are the legal guardian of your child/children, you can take a copy of the court order (original only, no copies) with you, and this will suffice to get into Mexico.
• If you are under 18 years old and want to travel to Mexico without your parents, you will need to carry with you a notarized letter of consent signed by both parents.

Tips for resort staff are not required, but they work hard to make your stay a pleasant one and gratuities are very much appreciated.  [Top]

15. What are your policies regarding rentals?
• Guests may check-in to Villa del Palmar Flamingos any day of the week.
• Payment options: Travelers check, Personal/Business Check, Cashier's/Registered Check or Money Order. We also accept VISA, MasterCard, & Discover Card.
• Because we guarantee the lowest rates available on the web, reservations cannot be held without full payment in advance at time of booking. 
• If reservation is changed, a re-booking fee will apply: $70.00 if 60 days or more in advance; $130.00 if less than 60 days.
• Cancelations with refund are accepted only if the same dates and rates you reserved can be re-booked with another guest.  [Top]

16. Is there an All Inclusive or "Meal Plan" option at this resort?
Villa Del Palmar Flamingos offers guests the option of a "Meal Plan" as part of the All Inclusive (AI) package price with your suite or as a separate service that is available at check in as follows...

- $105 per adult per day, 3 day minimum
   Children under 12 half price per day

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This program may not be combined with any other promotions.
You must wear/show your bracelet at all times, sign a check each time you order any food or beverages.
Gratuities are included. Should you desire to leave the server an additional tip, you may do so. Any gratuity you add to your check will be charged separately to your account.
We reserve the right to refuse service to obviously intoxicated and guests not observing house rules.
Bracelet and package are for personal use and are non-transferable. Misuse will result in your privileges being revoked without any refund.
The package must be for a minimum of three (3) consecutive days. Once purchased, the package cannot be canceled and no refunds will be given.
The package must be for all persons in your room and in your party including all children over 4 years old. Children 4-12 years are charged 50%.
